Phase 1 Harness Fitting

I am about to fit my seats and harness's into my phase 1 clio.
I have done some research into this, and have a few questions.

Going by guidelines, using the rear lower seat belt points creates too small an angle going by diagrams.
I have seen talk of using the top mount on the top, where the reel bolts to.
Would this not then have the harness running at an angle and pulling off to one side and not sitting exactly square to the seat?

If probably wouldn't make too much of a difference once they were tightened. I'd strongly advise against using those mounts where the reel bolts to though. If that part of the car crumbles in a crash there's a chance it's going to pull the harness and will just crush you in your seat.

45 degrees is the max angle allowable in the guidelines. Providing you're not mega tall and have the seat really far back, you should be fine in the rear lower seatbelt points.
