Is it full frame?I have a Nikon D7100. I'm going to take it to New York in February and only want to take one lens.
I will rent a lens from these chaps http://www.lensesforhire.co.uk/
Question is what lens should I hire?
For sunset, try to get to one of the Severn bridges (M4 is best I think). I went to that one when I was there for the night. You can park near enough under it and you get to look across the river.

Also, you have the Clifton suspension bridge which I didn't get to. I didn't get to much actually, I just went down for a gig then drive back that night.

If there's a 15-85 available i'd go for that if it's not FF, As Aaron said go really wide on a zoom lens. 16-35 is suppose to be really good tooIs it full frame?
You want something fairly wide for New York, if it's FF then something like a 24-70/ 24/-105 if they do it?
There was a 15-85 for Canon, maybe Nikon have an equivalent?
Just get out and use it. Be careful of any colour cast but that can be corrected in photoshop etc.I purchased a ND filter set the other day, looking forward to giving it a try once the weather improves slightly! Anyone got any tips?

I ended up buying a battery from Curry's for £20, alot better than the £50 odd that Cannon wanted and will be find for a spare. :smile:Thank's bud, i will have a look.
Excuse the thread bump Simon, and it maybe a daft question, but how do you use those ND filters? Like, how do they attach to the lens?

Anyone sold an image to a record label before?
Had an email asking to use an image for a single cover. MTA records , owned by Chase n Status want to use it for one of their upcoming artists.
Dont want to price myself out of it but also don't want to give it away.
Anyone?
I've messaged him on twitter.Niall would be good one to ask as he does all band stuff now, but he doesn't come on here much anymore.
I can ask him for you?
Without trawling through this thread for links, as it's a bit on the long side, does anyone have any decent websites that I could look at that'll educate me a little in photography?
I've just ordered a Canon EOS 1300D, with a lens. However, I know utterly nothing about taking pictures - I've only ever used point & shoot cameras in the past!
