Yeah your right it was the 6D was full frame body, 7D was APSC , I was looking at the 6D not sure if they did a mk2 version later, anyway yeah my old 2 l lenses 24-70 and l 24-105 were both f4. the 24-105 I got came in a white box from HDEW which was from a kit originally.
from what I remember a wide prime didn’t appeal to me , a zoom did me well
Theres not as many options now as what I was remembering on the sites, they had current gen and last generation too
i may look at the full frame 5D down the line and not get a newer iPhone lol.
i still got the rest of my kit, bag, 055 Manfrotto carbon fibre tripod and lee filters, I’m still happy with the DSLR size and Canon and what it does would be nice to have better tech and more pixels than the 500D get more light in the camera
whats MPB again?
what’s the Canon 90D like anyone know much about it?, the new version of the 5D body only new is going for around £1600
Exactly this. Are Canon APSC 1.6x crop? So at 24mm, that’s giving you 38mm (ish) equivalent, which is way too tight for most landscape shots surely?
Still showing your account but that doesn't measure you've not been banned?I’ve made a comment on the other thread about editing photos. I’ve been trying to get into my Flickr account past week , been a very long time since I’ve been into it and would like to post pic’s again. I tried logging in with my details , I got in it says I been banned ?!?!. I went out and tried to get in again but couldn’t so I sent a message to Flickr support to get me back in, no response yet. Could someone try and see if they can see my images on my Flickr account please and see if my images show or see if it says banned lol
Good to see my account is showing and some pics, I’m puzzled on why it said it, could be just a standard couple lines that may not have been for me. I’ll see over the next few days for response, I’d rather not want to make new account and have no idea that Flickr is to do with Yahoo as it’s asking for a yahoo email.
Last post owner has a Sonmy 😆 .. one before a Panasonic. Who you talking to 🤣75mm FF equivalent will be way too tight for a travel prime.
For apsc you’d be best off going for a 24mm (gives you FF equivalent of 35mm).
I’m unfamiliar with what Canon has available though.

Was having a quick look on eBay last night and seem reasonable.Oh 😂
Complete misread. In that case, Sony do a 24mm f/1.8 or Viltrox 23mm f/1.4 @KitsonRis
I’d play about with your zoom at 24mm and 35mm and see which feels best for you. Primes as a single lens can be challenging but fun.
If you want easy photos which will probably be exposed correctly, use your phone.
I can guarantee the “best” photo we end up taking on our honeymoon will be on our phone 🙄 tbh our favourite photo from our wedding day was the one I took on my phone just after the service of just me and my wife when we had 2 mins to ourselves, but that was more of the moment rather than it was a good picture. Didn’t need a photographer lol.
I did not know this!! Maybe it’s been moved and I had no idea!re: viewfinder on Sony’s.
Use the little black wheel next to it, it will calibrate it to you.
The Ricoh GR’s look great for a daily carry, my problem being is that I have an old Panasonic GF3 with a 25mm (50mm equivalent) that I can’t not take with me.Oh, I bought a new lens the other day.
I don’t really ever shoot wide, but bought this for the 1% time I need to.

Look at how small it is 😂
28mm fixed f/4.5. Paid about £50 second hand. AF is quick and it’s sharp enough.
I also bought it as I’ve been debating a Ricoh GR for ages. They do two variations, 28mm or 40mm equivalent. Pulled the trigger on a 40mm, should be here today.
