Photos won't upload

When I try uploading a photo from either my iPhone or my mac its says the file is too big and will not upload, but they're only iPhone pics so I'm not sure why they're too big and I've uploaded photos from another iPhone previously so I'm a tad confused and wondering if anyone could shead any light on the sisituation

What size are they?

They won't upload when they get around 2mb-3.5mb, not sure if that's big for an iPhone photo?

That is quite large. I don't know if that would be too big to upload or not though.

My photos I normally resize to about 500-1000KB max if they arent already.

Unless it's a really special high res photo.

Upload them to photobucket/flickr then paste the img link here

Seems strange then, it's only an iPhone so not like it has a really good camera or anything. Cheers Matt W I'll try that

I had this issue, photo bucket is the way forward here

I Use http://postimage.org/ it's proper simple and easy.
