tried to update the version i was running on, unfortunately it all went tits up.. i made a back-up of the forum and database on mysql is all in place still but really could do with some expert help !

Rich, I run a phpbb forum and have done the upgrade from version 2 to 3 before. Is this what you have done thats gone wrong?
