Some stupid b**ch drove in to my car head on last nite, Cars in a right state and to make things even better the car was not in her name did not have tax and the big one NO INSURANCE

I ve got a funny feeling some body could be in for a hidding!!!!!!!

Oh yer she also had the cracking idea of running away from the scene of the acident because there is a warrant out for her arrest!!

Yes it is the cup that I picked up on monday. only got 400 miles on the clock. And I think ive started to feel the whiplash now just to make me feel that bit sicker.

I am going to try and prosecute for driving without insurance, with no tax, dangerous driving and leaving the scene of an accident, and hopefully this little b**ch will get whats coming to her

She ran off, and took 10 of us push as the n/s/f lower wishbone had failed. Ive been down there this morning and it has not been touched, I think they have just dumped it now!!!!

I really feel for you big time

on this one because I crashed my cup in January with just 400 miles on! Ok it was my fault (should have taken the bus or cab in that bad snow) but also it was down to some fat t0sser business man parking his bottom of the range 7 series just after a traffic island. Slid in the ice and couldnt control it. Either way its added £100 to my insurance.

Really sad because I know youre insurance cost a mint anyway. Is the car a right off? i.e. because its new you might be lucky enough to get another new cup off the insurance. Mine was fixed by Renault and youd never know it happened. Dont seem to drive any different anyway. Most of the damage was there because the Clio is designed to do that - all the bit were just changeable.

Just shows you! That stat about 1 in 3 not having insurance must be ture!

On another note. My mate Ian had some drunk crash into his Escort Si at Christmas in some old Ganarda. The guy had no tax,no insurance, car wasnt road wervy. The guy gave my mate his details but drove off before the police got there (1 hour late) because he was so p1ssed.

Anyway because on this Ian had to claim on his own insurance and it went down as a fault claim (no other option) and had to borrow on his mortgage to buy another car as the Escort was a right off.

The police arent chasing up the guy because they dont have the resources

Adam how old are you, and what insurance company are you with?

The damage is not as bad as your car, but it does need a new front bumper headlight, bonnet, lights, front slam panel and n/s/f wing.

I have just found that the girl that was driving and done all the above IS ONLY 16

gutted mate, really feel for you, my mate had some lads crash into his mint VR6 a year back with the same situation as yours, he never got any compensation from them, he had to claim on his own insurance. Even if you get them in court, you cant claim for damge4s, they will be done for driving offences, leaving you well out of pocket, gutted for you mate.................

yep, as long ad you are FC, you can claim on your insurance, you will lose any NCB and your premium will go up next year though

The police have even said in there report that she was in the wrong, but the insurance company has said that my insurance will still go up. It just goes to show how the justice systems works in this country, I mean its perfect if your criminal, but if you are a genuine legal road user you will proberly be punished for being in the right.

Im 25 and have protected NCB but the insurance will still go up. Im with Tesco who to be fair handled the claim really well and contacted the company who owned the other car as the driver wasnt at the sciene. All I had to do was wait and make a few phone calls (about 8 to the police to find out the reg no of the car I hit as I forgot it - always carry pen and paper lads). Luckerly I have the use of another car so that wasnt a problem.

My cars damage will all to lights,bumper,panels,rad and need 1 new turini. Mine need most of the same you have listed. Slam panel is a welding job i think.

Why was the stupid little cow driving?

RING THE POLICE

You are injured, she had no tax, no insurance, no mot, not old enough...a nice fine and a good ban will crucify her when she does learn to drive...

Also if you have legal protection on your policy..they will persue her direct for damages, when it goes to court and is awarded..if she doesnt pay then you can get a CCJ against her and then send the baliffs in.

Problem is they probably dont care about bans or increaded premiums cos there never going to pay insurance or learn to drive legally are they.

Yes but the girl who crashed into his car is entitled now to a criminal record, yes it is terrible his insurance will have to hack the cost of the damage, and ultimately he will pay with increased premium next year...hopefully his no claims is protected...

But too many people get away with paying nothing and it should be pursued with the police really.

on a different note i know but 2years back now a lady crashed into my rear no fault on my behalf at all, bad thing is that when i mentioned this my premium went up £100 because drivers with 3rd party claims are more likely to make a claim themselves ludacris i tell you!

I hate this type of peron never mind somone who drives round in a rusting 1.2 nova with their baseball hat on backwards etc uninsured drivers are the real trouble.

Will she care about a criminal record though? She probaly claiming dole and doing some work on the side the cars not registered to them no tax, MOT, insurance so what if she gets a record not like it means anthing.

Look at that lad in liverpool got a string of convictions for driving he has a total of about 10 yrs ban but still drove away from court in his T4 Volvo after another ban. Plus he sued a driver for whip lash when they crashed into him but he shouldnt have been driving a car anyway but still got a few k compensation

tell the police, get a top solicitor, and make sure every god dammned legal route is pursued to throw the book at her, Anyone who is caught driving without insurance & tax would be given a prison sentence in my book of at least 5 years, absolute scum of the highest order, make sure she pays big time

Just make sure she has enough money to pay for the damages no use trying to get money out of somoen who doesnt earn much anyway.

After all if you get a court order for her to pay and get the baylifs round they might find she has £20 of posesions thats not even going to pay for the baylifs.
