I'm sure they come as individual letters, so probably not easy to get them all level.

Hardest part is probably removing the old badges.

also not true. hair dryer for a few minutes, then wrap a credit card in paper and slowly lift the badges away from the paint.

apply some SRP to cut the area back to a clean surface again, and you're away!

It's probably the hardest part of the whole job though ;)

Although it's good to hear it is pretty easy with a hairdryer. My missus just got a new "turbo" one for xmas, so that'll speed up the process lol.

LOL

true though fella, 2 min job once the surface is ready!

nope, they come in a fixed frame. :D
I stand corrected sir :)

I might get one then, bit common now though :rasp:

rara!

common for a reason my good sir ;)

Fittin them is a nitemare as your assuming the cardboard bit is true...And on mine it wasn't so the badge is a tiny bit 'pissed'

Miles nicer than the old badges imo.

is the paint faded much below the old lettering? what stuff do you use to bring the paint back up?

Nothing really. The sticky stuff jus rubs off with a bit of heat, The grot was washed off and then given a wipe with detailer.

as said. or if you're not a clean freak it might be slightly ingrained

in which case, apply some SRP to the area

Everytime I have asked people have told me they come as individual letters.

So the Renault and Sports badge comes as one? If so I will do it myself :)

Also is the part number for both?

Look nice but they make the Gay girlie style "Clio" look out of place... shame they are pinned in and a bit more of an arse ache to sort

Part number is for both renault and sport

The badge comes in frame so you stick it on then peel back the frame leaving the lettering perfectly spaced... fool proof

I called in to a dealer today and he said that it was £30.

Anyone know where you can get the newer style Clio badge from and how much? Someone on here had it on an iceberg 172.

Just phoned up Sunwin Nottingham and that part number he said was £25.11 plus VAT.

Are they pulling a fast one or are all garages pricing the same?
