Picked up new Clio 172 Today

but would you reccomend I stay below 3500 rpm for the first 600 miles as reccomended in the handbook, well impressed with the car so far.

i behaved myself but there are differing opinions on the whole do you or dont you treat an engine gently at the start of its life.
