Picked up the 172

almost forgot how quick these cars are, loved the drive home from liverpool. Couple of things not quite right,

1) the drivers seat seems to rock forwards and backwards a little under heavy braking and booting it, is this common?

2) Trip computer MPG and miles left just flashes ---- the other functions work ok.

Seat shouldn't rock and have you got fuel? Below 40 miles, the computer blanks, although doesn't flash.

fuel is half full, will attemp the fault finding guide later and check the seat bolts

Hmm shouldnt be that bad?! maybe replace the runners? My seat only rocks sometimes when its not clicked in properly.

Take of the seat trim and tighten all the seat bolts, solved my rocking.

I'm sure I remember reading that you have to tighten the seat bolts from underneath the car. I might be wrong though!
