cheers lads, engine is in and SWEET as, not been able to drive it yet though
. its going in for a bonnet and front bumper re-spray as the winter use has taken its toll. not sure wether to keep it standard or get it debadged and smooth and mesh the front bumper? any ideas. fancy getting it meshed and smoothed etc but reckon the car will lose its classy modified looks and be more boy racer?sandpaper on the inlet manifold works a treat! i got the engine from Adis old valver/willy, the guy who fitted it said he would fit it for free if he got to keep my old engine cos of the mileage(28k). it went in fine, the transplant took about 5 hours, they know what they are doin!
still not sure what im gonna do about the front end, there are SO many little stone chips so it defo needs a re-spray, will see what response i get here

Mikey, i am thinking about having williams badges like the willy had except in silver but in exactly the same place, what you reckon? need to know if there are any badges that are heat resistent, but wont be getting my engine out just yeet cos it still needs loads of polishing!

Not sure about stickers on the exterior as some peeps may think ur trying to pretend, especially when a lot of people dont even know what a Clio 1.8 16v is!

That engine has been polished with-in an inch of its life!
My rocker cover has a few chips so it doesnt bother me, plus mine is not exactly a show car like urs seems to be becomming.
