Sorry it is a bit dirty at the mo.

The Cat-back exhaust system has a great sound and is not too loud on the motorway either, It only really kicks in when you rev/floor it. It has a lovely note even at tick over but it is not too obtrusive. Also I have noticed a massive power gain from fitting it.

The other great thing about it is that the Box does not hang down, It hangs up instead, this is what I mean;

looks ok george!!! nice one m8. am thinking of going for the 90mm tho. where did you get it from, and was you given the choice of 4" or 3.5" (i.e. 101mm vs 90mm)... i prefer this design to the twin 3" Ktec...

i been doing a search and you could probably have got it for less if u are a member of cliosport.

I got it from a little place in Brighton £286 for whole system, was cheapest I could find. Good bloke too, was very helpful. Was not offered 101mm or 90mm though, Think 90mm is only on mk2s. Glad I went for this one anyway, very happy with it

For £5 mate you cant go wrong with joining, especially cos of the discounts and stuff.

i have a 172 Mk 2, so hopefully will have the 90 mm

Has it got any louder over the past couple of weeks???

Reason I ask is that when Ive bought new performance systems in the past they always seem quieter initially then get a bit louder as theyre used.

What kinda noise is it?

About to buy one of these myself and just wanted to know...



Also, did you fit it yourself? If so was it easy, and is it a good fit?

tell ya,if anyone is in the lancs area and wants full sytem id recommend topgear based on billington rd in Burnley.they did a top job on my last car.the above looks okay,but personally i prefer a bigger pipe,and bigger back box,so that you can see the backbox behind the exhaust if you know what i mean

Well, I do live in Burnley (well, just outside) and I know all about Top Gear, but I am the opposite to you...

I want a subtle tailpipe and dont wanna see the backbox under the back of the car, so the Scorpion is ideal for me!

Other system I considered was the K-Tec hidden one.
