Picture Request Please..

Ok.. so can anyone possibly post a link/upload or any decent sized photos of the front end of a Ph1 172.. I just wished to compare the lines of my bumper to a photo, I have been looking and can not seem to find a decent size photo. I have a suspicion that the outer parts of my bumper where it meets the wings are bowed out pretty bad.

Pics of silver if poss, makes it easier to compare then the black :rasp:

Cheers peeps..

P.s.. This is what I want to compare too on mine.. or perhaps someone with a good eye can tell me if mine is bent outta shape!

Cheers everyone for the posts.. Mine does seem to have an abnormal bow to it.. probably explains why it seems well out of line.. Time for straps and a heat gun me thinks! Loving that Blue 172 Snails ;)

@Dave120.. Not sure of a fix, as of yet, but have a few plans in my head, involves pieces wood, straps and a heat gun.. watch this space.. bumper removal is a 5 min job

do a quick guide mate as mine needs doing, I was told they have two bolts near the grill that you can adjust slightly to get them sitting better as mine is the same as yours :)

When I get around to it guys I will of course do a guide.. pretty simple mind if you wanting to readjust using the bolts under the grill.. You just need a Tox 30 bit, loosing both bolts and you can slide the bumper probably about 0.5mm left or right.. I think with the bowing though that's just a case of heating the parts that looks warped, iirc plastic holds it memory to which it was formed, light heating around the area should persuade the plastic into its correct position.. Careful not to over heat it, and make sure you heat it from the rear not directly onto the paint
