pinout for stalk adapter / display / mini iso

Im after the pinout ideally of the yellow mini-iso connector that connects on a head unit and drives the display and reads the stalk adapter.

IIRC the stalk powers a 3x3 matrix which is read by the pcb on the display (red connector)
I belive that this must be converted to some serial protocol akin to the sont stalk type (resistor ladder) and is sent to one of the pins on the yellow display mini iso connector.

Im toying with prgramming my own pic / sx chip which does the reading of the stalk adapter to integrate with a sony HU (one atm is crap) and also which can operate the display lcd (assuming a serial driven display)

toying with a program... if you get that going i bet you could sell it on hear as a diy fix lmao the leads atm are around 70quid for display and stalk setup get them from most dealers pobs get them cheaper if you ask about aparently alpine and sony are only head units that fully support the setup... may be wrong tho i no you need a cd changer conection

no intention fo selling. electronics eng with a stack of blank chips to play with and an urge to learn pic / sx programming. I have a crappy stalk mod on atm but the buttons are less than ideal and it connected to the back of the display which requires the dash off for 1. I had wondered if the hu display was output anywhere but afaik it isnt so would only be track / mp3 tag info from the cd changer side
