Hondata'd EP3 Type R
Finished early from work today, And the postman ah ddelivered my Pioneer AVH-P5900DVD, And a note from my dad saying " I presume this is a new toy for your car". I didnt expect it, I ordered it about 2pm yesterday from Caraudiosolutions on ebay. I wouldnt normally have ordered from ebay, But I had the money in paypal so. Anyway excellent service, Less than 24 hour postage for £8.99 and the unit was £8 cheaper than RRP.
My first impressions where good, Then i thought b****cks. Every screen I have fitted has hada processor that you fit in the boot and a wiring loom. Which makes it a pain to install, But easy for wiring your RCA's etc. Apart from this is all included, No seperate processor. I've just prder £45 1 metre RCA's which are useless now, But hey.
I decided to fit it, Didnt fit it ALL because Its got to come out for the install.
IT fitted excellently, Didnt need no wiring looms, Although i have lost the steering wheel control which i may purchase.
I also like the new cages where you screw the unit in rather than push it till it clicks.
My biggest issue was space behind the head unit, Cant see how I'm going to get the rcas etc down there, But ill figure it out.
Need to buy an antenna adapter too, I'll pick one up from halfords tomorrow. But all in all, An Excellent product. If i am honest, I find them a bit of a distraction, And have bee ndrivign with the screen closed and just skipping track with the button on the front rather than the touch screen
But a good unit, Should sound better with some SPL Dynamics toys ive ordered
