270£ to fix, which is basically more than a new unit on eBay! Gutted, i take it there is no one on here able to fix it with reconditions bits?? It's a AVIC-X1R unit
Halfrauds used to fix AV stuff using AEL (Advanced Electronics LTD) for a fixed fee of £120 regardless of fault. Fixed using manufacturer parts and approved processes. Might be worth giving them a ring to see if they still do it. I heard a rumour that the same company deal direct with customers through a website called "fix my radio"
Pioneer is bullet proof so wonder what happened to it before you got it!
