Pioneer stereo into 172

Shortly I'm going to pick up my new 172. I'm going to put the stereo (Pioneer Avic X1R) from my Trophy into this car.

There wasn't a stereo lead available for the Trophy to control the column mounted stalk. Is there one for a 2001 172 FF?

I shouldn't really have bought this one, but at the price it would have been rude not to!

I did the old lead stak thing when putting a sony cd player into my 1.2 16v 2001 - I got the lead from Halfords for 17.99. Just a crappy wire like.

I've been on Autoleads and I think I need:

PC99-X12 = £32.99
PC99-PIO = £6.99

The incartec site is quite difficult to find the information I want. They also don't list prices. I've emailed them this morning but still no reply.

or i'd suggest giving them a call, explain what model year your Clio is and what you're after and they'll be able to give you a price inc delivery. i found them to be really helpful but agree their website needs some improvements in design!

Just been round to Halfrauds. Sweet talked the young girl there and she sold me the Autoleads stalk adaptor and Pioneer adaptor for £30. Result!

Part codes are:

PC99-X12
PC99-PIO

Just need to make sure they fit now!

The only trouble with the autoleads one is you've got to have the dash top off to put it into the back of the clocks. With the incartec one you plug it into the yellow mini iso the standard hu used.

Unless you'd rather go pissing about taking the dashtop off (admittedly not that hard) i'd take it back and get the incartec one. The screen won't show anything with the autoleads one either, although it doesn't show too much with the incartec one but its better than a blank screen.

I needed to take the dash off anyway to feed the gps through from the Avic X1R headunit.

What does the display show with the incartec one??

Nothing on all the ones i've put in for people, just a blank screen and thats not just with renaults. The incartec one will show Pioneer normally and show what function you've pressed when you press a function on the stalk. Not exactly brilliant but better than a blank screen which looks naff imo.

I'd return it for the incartec even though your taking the dash top off and all in all its a better adapter imo.
