Plastic removal

Anyone know how to remove the plastic piece that runs along the sill? How do you get the bonnet release through it? does the handle pull off? don't really want to snap it

Ill have a look into it if no1 else replys, I've only had mine a week, so I'm still new to the car

I think the bonnet release just pulls off, probably the same with the panel after all the surrounding bolts are undone. Just have a look around the bonnet release? If theres no bolt then it surely has to be a pull off?

Thats what i was thinking mate, but i've tried pulling it. Think i'm just worried about snapping it

the bonnet release lever just pulls off (from experience)

not sure about the plastics - have a look in Haynes if you've got one, as the interior trim is described in there. fairly sure i had the panel behind the bonnet release lever off and that it just pulled off (hook-type clip at the top?) - if unsure, feel for resistance to identify where the clips are, then see if you can bend it back to see what type of fixing it has, rather than just yanking it off
