Please PLEASE help me with my Cd player

Hiya, I bought my clio rsi on the 14th of this month, so far I havent been able to listen to any music because the previous owner took the cd player with him, and CHOPPED all the wiring at the back, so im left with loads of different coloured wires with no connector, im going to have to do it myself, but even after buying a trusty haynes manual im still lost as to which wire connects to which wire....
the wires are,
Yellow and Green, Red and Grey, Black and Green, Black and grey, Dark Purple, Light purple, blue and grey, a pinky colour, another pinky colour with one little red square on it, 2 white wires, and 2 beigey colours one slightly darker than the other, PLEASE PLEASE tell me which wire does what coz ive tried all sorts but am getting no where. what im after is someone sort of saying, the beige with red square connects to positive for rear right speaker, yellow and green to constant 12v, etc....thank you so much Mark.

Do you have a multi meter?? Red or Yellow should be (+) from batt. Black (-) and Yellow or Red: ACC(+) when key is turned. But best of using a multimeter. Then unmount the speakers and use the (OHM) on the meter to find the right wires.

Im in colchester Essex and id help u if ur anywhere near, got me rsi not so long ago

first of all concentrate on getting power 2 the unit!

so basically first of all try 2 separate the wires, i.e. 2 colours that r similar r more than likely going 2 b speaker wires,

then u should hopefully have red/yellow/blue left separately

Take the speaker covers off, and look at what the colour of the 2 wires are that goto them. If 4 speakers, than drops you 8 wires..

This is what i think they are matey.. but to confirm you going to have to remove the speakers and have a look. Dont take me as gospel tho..

Beigey colours one slightly darker than the other



Dark Purple

Light purple



Pinky colour

Pinky colour with one little red square on it





Others..



White wires – Possible illumination (lights on, lights head unit up)



Blue and grey - Ignition Live (turn key on, radio comes on)



Red and Grey – Permanent Live (for use of the clock etc in radio)

Black and grey – Earth (erm..are ya thick.?)
