plugs and ht leads

are the plugs and leads a service item on the 172's????

i was quite confused to discover it appears you have to remove the inlet manifold to change them :s

someone said to me they may not be a service item and maybe designed to last at least 100,000 miles is this correct?

The plugs are a service item. Every 36k!?

Ht leads you would replace when they fail/play up, I think plugs are 72k but you wouldn't leave them that long, it's not a big job if your handy with the spanners.

oh i'm handy enough just can't be bothered, used to building minis fitting superchargers vtecs etc

can't be bothered with effort for spark plugs though, oh well i'll do it next week. may as well port the inlet while i'm at it
