Fitted mine a couple of day's ago. Anybody else's MPG gone down drastically since fitting theirs?!

Massive improvement over standard. The distance between gears isn't reduced as such, but selecting gears is much much smoother. It's just all much more precise. Definitely reccomend it for the money. Got the strut brace as well so all together its massively improved!

The gear change on mine can feel abit sloppy which then makes it a b*****d for missing gears, is the pms linkage really that good ?

My mk5 fiesta that I had before the clio had a better gear change :/

not too bothered about having a shorter throw, just want it more precise as my 3rd gear synchro is iffy

Would try a lower up-rated dog bone mount, The amount of MK2's with "dog feeling" gearbox's are often engine mounts & gearbox oil related

It's got fresh gearbox oil in it which helped a little but still feels crap,
suppose I could do a poly bushed dogbone along with a better linkage to help it along

It really tightens up the gate and makes selecting gears much easier. No more guessing for third and struggling to get it into reverse! Well worth the money imo!

What oil did you use?

Cant remember off the top of my head, 75w90 or whatever they recommended

Sweet I hate 3rd gear! Can you still use standard gearstick?

This is the link to it. You get everything from the gear lever to the gearbox! The gear lever you get is quite a bit longer than the standard gear lever. So much easier and nicer to use!
