I like the idea of one but would like to see some more pictures at a different angle to see where it sits in relation to the steering wheel.
for me the picture already shown is a little deceiving.
as per Mark (Space Cadet) if I decide I want one Id not be worried about saving £20 if it meant holding on a couple of weeks, especially when a lot of my stuff is an impulse purchase, if I want it then ill want it there and then.

I would love to get one as I know the quality of Nicks work after all the bits he's supplied for my car. However I doubt this will work in my car as the gearstick position is moved back in my car and the gear lever assembly is top mounted rather than underneath. I have been meaning to call Nick about it to see what he thinks but I'm doubtful without a lot of work it'll fit.
I'm in 2 minds weather to buy one and then modify it to fit but I've got enough on my plate I think unfortunately at the moment
Any other pics of it fitted, esp looking at it centrally or side by side as want to get an idea how close to the wheel it is.

Everyone thinks £20 isn't worth waiting so everyone goes and buys one straight away - Irony is there will be more than 10 of us buying them this week but no-one has any faith in anyone else LOL

Looks awesome and would love to see how it feels compared to the Stiff Shift kit I have from Noos, guessing it would be a even bigger improvement in tightening things up.
i have a one of there kits on my 106 rallye after having to rebuild my gearbox after 3 rallies due to syncros going. i brought one since then not problem . would recommend one to any one with any car . if my cup car didnt have a sadev 6 speed sequential it would be on the top of my list to buy

Doesn't the 106 one go straight through the bulkhead, the selector is on the top of the box?
Tony - the 106 linkage is 2 bars.. 1 runs under the tunnel.. 1 goes thru the bulkhead. ..

Ah, ok then. But can you see where I'm coming from? I would still like to actually see, feel this, before actually buying one.

I measured the play in my standard one - it moves 2" in each direction when in gear! LOL

Really, you can get it so that 4th is almost touching the tunnel.
Yeah but this kit solves that problem and also brings it up and back
I did the mod that you recommend with shortening the rod but I hate it, it nearly hits the handbrake and it's still too low
For the money that I made selling my quickshifter this is a no brainer for me

Mine just turned up. Looks good and its all assembled. Can't wait to use this. Looks awesome. Doesn't look like it brings it that far back but the linkage slides to adjust with a pinch bolt so can get it as far back as possible. Just sitting higher feels nicer and feel further back because the height.
Fingers crossed mine turns up today! Got today off so it will be fitted today!
