Points question (part 2)

Last summer, I was caught doing 101mph on an empty motorway. Went to court, was given a £450 fine and 6 points, with the offence code given being SP60. Fairs fair i thought. Then I read this:

Im now thinking, why was I given an SP60 instead of an SP50? I broke the limit on the motorway, surely thats an SP50? Do I have a case? It may make a difference on insurance?

Not much help but when i got caught for an average of 96mph on the m/way my code was SP50

Yeah someone I know got an SP50 for doing 97mph, 3 points and £60 fine, what a shocking difference 4mph makes

Thats a good point Mike. I got done on the motorway and got an SP50 to join my SP30 lol.

I reckon the idiots wrote it wrong on your license. Once of my offences hasnt been dated and the fine is wrong, and we have to trust these f*****g idiots.

Thats all i got. Notice i say average too! I was a very very lucky boy! The copper had me on camera doing over 100 but did me for my average

I got done for doing 80mph at midnight on a quiet by-pass near my house, national speed limit. Also got offence code sp60, what to do?!
