Polish on plastics? Look inside. . .

Right, this is a question that is constantly asked in this section;

So you've got polish on your plastics and people are telling you all sorts of truths and myths that removes it. This is "guide" is designed to show you results of one very wildly used method. Do not be taken in by "wax removers" as these do not work! Simple items do!

The test car was actually my own, after a deliberate covering of Super Resin Polish (shows you how confident I am that this works);

Product; WD40 50:50 shot

Product; Linseed Oil (wood curing amongst other things!) 50:50 shot;

Very simply add the product to a cloth, sparingly. Use some elbow grease to rub in said product. Leave it to do it's job and then buff/wipe off, taking the sediments from the polish/wax away with it. The cloth should be a grubby white/grey colour from the dirty polish.

Make sure that you then protect the plastics after this, with a bumper care product, just like you would do with freshly polished paint.

The results can clearly be seen! I know the photos are not that great, Blackberry camera suck! I will be writing this up in full and try and get it made a sticky in the guides section soon, once I have more time.

Hope this helps!

The groundnut oil does the job perfect, lose count of the amount of times I've posted that!

Small post count FTL :(
