Polishing a Williams!!

DNT

Car  Clio Williams
Hi all!!

I have a Williams (449 Blue williams 1) that could do with some time and care spent on giving it a good wash, wax and overall detailing. I was just wondering what are the best products to use for a car of this colour. The car has the odd light scratch mark and a few swirls here and there. What do you think i need?

Well on my Williams I use

Clay Bar
Menz IP polish by machine but in your case by hand if the scratches are not too bad.
Meguiars gold class shampoo
Hyper wash as drying aid
Zymol carbon wax topped off with Zymol field glaze

This is twice a week minus the polishing which is once every 5/6 months

P21s also looks really good on that shade of Blue, shame it does not last very long, but is fine if you have a decent sealant under it.

What is a decent sealant and in what order is the best way to apply the products to the car after the wash and dry?

Wash
Dry
Clay
Polish
Seal and/or Wax

I find Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection a decent sealant for durability.

You will get the Gold Class shampoo, AG Super Resin Polish and AG Extra Gloss Protection from Halfrauds but thats about it from my list.

I can sell you almost everything on there and have it with you by Tuesday or sooner if you live local and want to collect.

PM me if your interested

EGP is gash! Tried it again today for a bubble, applyed as thin as possibleand it's just messy, doesn't give a great finish on illiad, 449 or flame red...
