Poly bushes

  Rb 182
Ok so i want to make my baby Rt handle as well as i can. I have already put Fk konigsports on the front and koni ajustables on the back, i have good tyres (eagles), i also have a cage to go in over the next few weeks. Thing is are poly bushes worth it?? I have heard they take there toll on other parts first but i am really thinking about them now.

Opions? Any one have them? Used them? Any good????

Cheers

I'd go for all new stock bushes.

Poly bushes in stock type applications tend to bind up and not work properly because they didnt think about the compound movements that suspension goes through.

Good road handling car, with occasional track use. 1.7t is going in soon so it has to be able to cope with that too.

a simple set of quality dampers and all new OE bushes will be more than you need in most cases.

Anyone else had any experiance with em?
Brun had them and they squeeked and I don't thik he liked them
Nick Read used to have them but they put extra load onto his car and broke other more expensive bits
Mike had to remove a few sets from 172 owners cars as they didn't like them.

I know that but is there any other place thats *ahem* cheaper?
Eurocar parts but for bushes I'd go to Renault ever time personally.

Aslo I'd say change your to mount and botom ball joints for new Renault ones you can get cheaper and they might not make any difference but still every little will help.
