possible alloy wheel change

hello all was thinking of going euro stlye ready for FCS

THE ONLY THING IS THE OFFSET IS 45 !

I was told that i will need to get spacers (8mm) as they will rub on the inside arches, can anyone help me please, the thing is its a bit of a drive to go there and find out they dont fit.

any help would be appreciated cheers

I would have thought 5mm spacers would be enough

What suspension are using on as you don't want to bounce and slice your tyres due to the 8 inch width

I'd expect the internal clearance over the caliper to be ok presuming your running standard sized 259mm discs and calipers?

they are ok...not to my taste...stick with the standard wheels mate...or msg Freebone hes got some Ph1 Black Turbines for sale...i rek they would look mint....your cars are the same colour!!!!

well the thing is i havent got the money but he was considering a part ex with the valver alloys, im looking @ 100 for my old ones as there wrapped in new firestone tyres. the thing is there wider and look better.

original plan referb wheels =150
remove and balance wheels =50
to thats 200 straight up.

so hopefully i can perswade him to accept 200 plus my wheels

i like them wheels, only trouble is imo they're much more suited to the mk2 ph1's as they're more rounded.

ronal turbos are nicer for mk1's imo, or some 14"/15" deepdish bbs crosspokes

yeah i think that looks alright although generally i am with ali on the choice of wheels for a valver

I quite like them in the photo shop, they do look different.
I guess the good thing is that if you decide after a while you don't like them (and want the phase 2's back) a set of ph 2's doesn't cost that much.
