Possible Gearbox Knocking Noise

  Clio 182
I've recently replaced my flywheel, clutch & gearbox on my 182 track car, after the old clutch cover disintegrated.

Now its all back together, when running the car on axle stands there's a knocking sound coming from the front left corner, when in gear. My suspicion is the gearbox / release bearing (although this was replaced as part of the clutch kit), but could it also be something else? (Loose mount? Something stupid from reassembly? Aware that the gearbox housing is currently missing one bolt).

The car seemingly drives okay, although I've not had a chance to put much load through it. The gearbox was 2nd hand so I only have the seller's word that it was fully working prior.

Let me know what you think, any steer would be greatly appreciated.
