Possible oil or fuel leak!!!

hi

just purchased a clio 1.8 16v

currently got what seems to be a small leak coming from drivers side by the driveshaft. when looking at the spillage it is a rainbow colored which made me first think maybe a fuel leak, but there is no smell of fuel and also the substance is quite sticky which made me think oil! Then after returning to the patch about 20 minutes later the substance had dried up which the leads me to believe its not oil!

bit confused as to what it could be.

checked all oil levels and they all seem to be fine.

Any ideas guys or girls would be appreciated

having leaking problems suddenly now too... fitted a phase 1 airbox which i kind of had to jam in ; the box is scrubbing against one of the coolant-hoses and now there's (like you said) a greenish substance dripping out from somewhere . I'm guessing we both have coolant-leaking problems m8

When it dries up it must be coolant i'm thinking
