-Mocal 13 row oil cooler with braided lines & thermostatic plate

Pretty much everything has been done by Dean at Dearne Garage in Barnsley, top man who knows his stuff :-)

I have big plans for this, how far I get time will tell...

Pic of interior below, It's having a major strip out for the roll cage, my flocked top dash needs to be cut too :( but for a good cause! Gauges are getting relocated to stereo slot, stereo is going in the glove box...

What car were you in? I can't complain as we are in 2hrs drive of some good track's IE: Donnington, Cadwell, Mallory, Croft, Oulton, and York raceway (a fine day out for anyone who has not been)!! to name a few...

Yep we're quite central for some of the best tracks which is nice. Anglesey is worth the effort to get to if you haven't been

Were you in that small group of MX5's? I know Titch who was with them. No I have not been to Anglesey yet it's on my to do list though :)
 
So the Clio is now fully stripped and the cage is starting to go in :-) Focus ST Orange is the colour of choice so should be subtle...
 
^^ No mate, was there with my friend but I do know one of lads with an mx5 that was there (AdamR on here). Not sure if he was with them, they're on the nutz forum i think those lads

A lairy colour can work quite well with the silver

Finishing off the welding today, windows out tomorrow, paint shop tomorrow PM :-) which is next door to Dearne garage thankfully so not the longest journey!

I'm getting excited now...:D

also can anyone advise how I change my first post in this thread to keep it up to date with the spec??

Well I have told the painter to 'surprise me' so lets see what happens...
 
Progress! The Clio is now minus doors and windows and today should be all masked up ready for paint :-)

I have bought another 172 with Gaz coilovers which I'm robbing for mine, and more to the point I'm robbing the engine and sending it off to be re-built with a few more bhp than standard... ;)

Also got this today :) im robbing the trophy spoiler, gaz coilovers and sending the engine to rs tuning in a couple of weeks.

My other baby its has the middle silencer removed, ktr panel filter and rs tuning remap to 191 bhp plus the obvious renault additions, on a 2009 its one of the last 197's
 
Cage it going to be similar orange to the graphics, id like to have the rest of the interior painted metalflake black but the engine build is priority now

Starting to get seats in now, stereo is in its new home... dash all nicely cut around cage, should be back together for Friday woop woop!!

Love how the dash looks now with the cage running through... next step is a pure motorsport gear linkage kit then 400bhp ;)
 
Pure motorsport solid top mounts and strut brace ordered, also camber adjust bolts for the front :)

Have not been on here for a while but have a bit of progress, I have boost! RS Tunikg currently have the car and are mid way through getting it mapped up for me :-)
