Powdercoating and keeping a polished lip...

I know there are a lot of threads on powdercoating but I can't seem to find one that answers my question.... As a few of you know I'm getting some Cades Eros Gold very shortly and I want to get them powdercoated properly to get a good finish, what I need to know though is how you would keep the polished lip of the wheels as I know they can't mask the wheels due to the heat... Would they polish the lip afterward? Would the paint still be sealed properly? And how much would this cost? (No paragraphs because my blackberry removes them when posting :()

Well I had a set of rims on my old Lupo powder coated gloss black with a polished lip.

They advised they would coat them first, then polish the lip and leave that bare metal. The reason being that it's very hard to keep the lacquer on bare metal as one chip and it would start to tarnish.

I found them easy to keep, just made sure I washed them weekly and once a month gave the metal a polish. I didn't even use an especially abrasive polish just some Autoglym Super Resin. Seemed to keep them perfect and that was all year round use too. :)
