Power for Alpine sub woofer

It's easy enough to get a feed direct from the battery. Move the coolant expansion tank and you'll be able to reach the grommet for bonnet cable.

I've had/still got one of those. Not convinced it's worth the effort tbh, I went back to having a proper sub instead.

Is moving the coolant tank enough? I thought that grommet was behind the PAS fluid tank.

Good to know as I need to get a power cable through thst grommet as well soon.

Its a pain in the ass trying to get the power cable through the bulkhead. As above unbolt the coolant tank and let that dangle. Find a BIC biro and remove the insides of it so you just have the tube. Cut the spade connector off the power cable. jab the biro through the bulkhead and then feed the power cable through the biro. Get your hand down behind the bulkhead lining, its quite far down and grab the power cable. Crimp a new spade connector on to the power cable (halfords do a nice little cheap kit) . Prepare to be on your back contorting in all sorts of positions for about an hour.

Easier with the dash off? That's coming off at some point anyway.
