power steering fluid bottle messy?

Car  Ph1 T
Just been out working on the car and noticed the bottle for the power steering fluid was greasy/wet as though it had overflowed come out ect.. I did a trackday on sunday could that be anything to do with it? theres still plenty of fluid in.. is it nothing to be worried about?

Fluid boiling over and coming out the bottle. Run the the level below minimum to allow expansion while on track. Signs of a wearing pump to me but some say its normal.

You drive it like a monster I expectcand that power steering fluid was screaming stop it get me out of here!!
normal track use thing, you won't find it leaks out on road use unless you drive like a ****(;

I thought I was the only onle that happened to, the fluid ran out the top of the bottle and was quite hot after doing a day at croft.
Never boiled the PS fluid in any other cars, silly french!

Very common problem on tracked 172's, mine was all up the side after the Nurburgring!

Just run the minimum amount and it shouldn't do it, or run a cooler.
