Power Steering pump noise.

Just changed my power steering fluid. When i filled up the tank with new stuff and started the car all was fine until i put it on full lock one side and back to centre. Now it makes a gear grinding noise. Is it because it just needs bled or is the pump done for? Didnt make any noise before. Filled with halfords ATF

is that the right dextron 3 or whatever its suppose to be? did you blled it first before starting the engine?

Yeah its dexron 3. Nah i just ran it and went to bleed it. Could be whats caused it if i never bled it beforehand

So is dexron II a big no no? does it have to be dexron III?
