PowerBoost Valve for 172

Just wondering if anyone had managed to fit a power boost valve on a 172 cup as they have sealed fuel rails and ive been told it cant be done by a couple of companys

I need to get more fuel pumping through because when it was on the rolling road last weekend the Co2 levels were at zero but they should be about 4% when its at maximum RPM.

cant be done

whats modifications is your cup running, a simple remap should sort most things out

uprated fuel pressure isnt need til you get up to around the 230bhp+ mark

It only got a K&N Filter, an Ecotek and stainless exhaust that i know about,

I bought it about 5mths ago took it too the rolling road the weekend i got it was shocked wen it pushed out 180BHP i thought it was at the fly wheel but boggy who did it insured me it was at the wheels been back again last weekend with my mate had it rolling roaded again and it was exactly the same 180BHP!! My mate asked if it was at the wheels and yet again boggy said it was, He also said i need more fuel thats why im looking for ways to do it

K&N or any induction kit tend to make the F4R engine lean, this needs to be adjusted in the ECU

Open induction kits have been proven to loose you power on the F4R engine

you dont need to uprate fuel pressure

180bhp @ wheels is impossible unless you have a £5K full specd race engine under the bonnet

Get rid of the ecotech valve, they dont work

Is your car de-catted?? (i assume not)

Ive just been talking to someone in media& pics and he said his mates cup is 193 at the wheels.

its not got a decat yet but will have soon

160-170 is good @wheels (over 200 @ fly)

193 @ wheels???? from an R-sport and decat???? = more like 193 @ fly

most definately not possible.

You dont need increased fuel pressure at ANY point, you need increased flow capacity, where you should be jumping injector sizing at about 200-ish bhp.

190bhp, sorry, no....never.......

Dont batter it on the RR when its lean as they make most power when detting....which is nice.

Get a decent wideband afr meter on it and have a proper look and adjust the fueling at the SAME time.
