Apparently they're loud but because they're metal they heat the air up so don't actually make you have any increase in power.

I've got a Powertec but not the stainless steel one. It looks just like the normal K&N but different logo.
On a 1.2 it sounds nice around 3k revs+ but you'll find your petrol goes quickly and the novelty will wear off. Performance wise I noticed it to be more responsive but defo not faster.
