Precision gear linkage.

If like me over the years you have tried various gear linkage options to reduce that vague feel, look no further. I have been running the gear linkage kit from Pure-Motorsport on my 172 Cup race car for about 6 months and it is simply fantastic and without fault. Unlike other PTFE bush/Aluminium housing "types" its feal dosen't alter as the car underside heats up and it the bushes tighten. Stick with the standard original shifter link. The positioning of the lever height is spot on too.

Would that shorten the life of the gearbox? I know some short-shifters have a bad rep.

No. It's a short shifter but doesn't speed the throw up at the box end.
