Price advice

Can anyone give me some idea what to ask for my 172. It's a 2000 W MkI, 59500 miles, and in absolutely immaculate nick, no dents or scratches anywhere. The only things wrong with it are the usual steering wheel marks, and a bit tatty interior door handles, ( I'll sort these out though). Totally standard and unmolested, apart from a brand new set of wheels and tyres, to replace the 17's on it when I bought it (they ruined the ride/handling). I've recently had the cambelt and pulleys done, and it's going in for the mot next week, so it will have a brand new one aswell. Recent fully synthetic oil & filter change. Regularly cleaned and polished with Autoglym products, inside and out.

Parkers say £4850, Evo mag are saying £5495 for a 2001 MkI, so I'm not really sure what to ask.

Why so much less than the Parkers guide, is it not accurate ?

no its not. use a glasses guide. they are supposed to be much more accurate

I've seen Mk1 172 with 70k (with cambelt done) go for £4k before now and ones with 120k for £2.5k
