printing in just black & white?

hi, my printer prints everything in colour all fo the time, is there any way of getting it to print in just black and white so i'm not going through all this ink? is this possible or do all printers do this, it a epson stylus cx3650 by the way

Yeah go into printer settings and set it up to print greyscale as a default


Go file print, preferances, one of the tabs is color, go in there and set it up as grey scale
