Private Registration Question

Hi there, just got my documents thru for my new private reg. and need to order the plates for it. Not wanting to get pulled and done by the cops for having an illegal plate but wanting a nice reg plate I was wondering how far I can push it.

I want to use standard legal text but on the very bottom (where you can put the plate manufacturers/suppliers name eg. Reg vardy) I want to put http://www.cliosport.netwww.cliosport.net for obvious reasons. Do you think ill get pulled/can I say I got it made from a member of the site therefore it will be legal?

secondly, I know emblems are illegal on the left side unless a national flag, whats the chances of me getting pulled and done for having CLIO or 16v on the side?

any peeps who have been pulled/done or any opinions are very welcome. Dont wanna waste my money and get points or something!

where you want cliosport.net.. im pretty sure thats perfectly legal. at my old garage, any cars that needed new plates, we put our name on the bottom and the postcode. So must be ok then.

Ive seen a couple about and if you dont go overboard and keep to Uk standard font and spacing you shouldnt have any hassle from the fuzz.

Yeah fancy plates look great................I bought them but didnt get UK lettering and got pulled so theyre lying in the garage...................you can have them for £20

sorry to hijack but does anybody know if it is legal to have a space the size of a number after the first letter then the 2 numbers then the space to the 3 letters like A 99 AAA instead of A99 AAA?

Fancy plates will do that for you as well... (although it is illegal - I think!)

My plate is illegally spaced (only slightly!), with http://www.cruisesouthmids.co.ukwww.cruisesouthmids.co.uk along the bottom and a non standard logo on the side and I have never been pulled for it - or had it mentioned when Ive been pulled for other reasons!
