Problems with Live.

Recently bought myself a 360 and am trying to get onto live. I've done the wireless scan and it wont pick up my router so i have entered the router details and passcode manually and it still won't connect to the router. Anyone got any ideas? Do i need to buy a new router?

Any help appreciated.

Try hardwiring it?!!

I bought a 20m cable from my local Computer shop for about £4. Does the job fine. (Although, i'm assuming that if yours is new, it has the wireless inbuilt?!)

Hardwire is much better... Or use the Powerline adapters that are now on the market? Uses your wall sockets wiring at the network cable instead.. a pairs about 35quid? Otherwise, check you can see your router on other devices, if you can, borrow a router off someone to check its not the Xbox?

Not tried hardwire might have to give it a go. Yes Harpham it's a new one with wireless built in. Don't think it is a fault with the xbox as it finds other networks just not mine.

Seems obvious but make sure your wireless network is broadcast enabled
