Project 182 TLC

Hi all
Have had the car nearly 3 weeks now and its nearly ready to be back on the road. the car its self is an 05 plate 182 in silver don't know the real colour name maybe someone can help me there?
I brought the car in Bristol with 85k on the clock didn't pay a lot for it as it has needed some tlc.
i have had French cars before i had a C2 1.1 and have gone from that to the 182

Painting the breaks

i have got a pic of the fronts done but i dont know where it is atm

started the service and found the car already had a ktr panel filter fitted

car atm awaiting having the belts done and finishing the service

was looking at the inlet manifold so it got painted black and then my girlfriend helped me with the detail of painting the yellow on all the letters

also have sent the wheels off to be refurbished and painted and they are now back

thats all i have of the car will upload some more satuday as doing some more work on it then like to know what you all think

i cant type i know and the urban tiger is the old man's and with the amount of stuff that is in our garage the 182 would not fit but just want to get it on the road now

so the cam belt etc had been done today on the 182 today still a list of jobs left to do is new break fluid and bleed the breaks change oil and filter put the front of the car back together wheels on finish the headlights exhaust on rad in coolant top up and a few other things and then drive of corse

well today has been a good day the 182 is finally on the road and the driving i have done it in today am loving it, it goes so well and drives like its on rails is an awesome car all that is left is the windscreen.

will get some better pics monday will get the slr out and clean the car

well clio has been on the road over a week now mot tomorrow morning and already got some bits for it i have a ktr front carbon spitter and the bottom wheel insert will get the splitter on but this is how the car is sitting now

the carbon splitter went on the car yesterday along with the badge cover on the wheel the mot was ok turns out the car needs a high pressure pipe on the power steering was advised here are a few pics of fitting the splitter and the splitter on the car

bad quality as taken on an iphone and car also isn't clean which don't help

so i got bored and had some yellow paint left over so panted the side bullets

Friday just gone the car got taken to Dartmoor with two friends one in a c2 VTS code and the other in an MX-5 the roads are awesome and the clio on these roads come alive its what it is made to do i have some shoots with the slr from the day as well but first a foal took a liking to the car when we stopped

here is the car at home parked up after a clean from the drive washed and towel dried and a quick go round with some detailer

Also here is one of the car at a meet in bristol at the start of august there where a few other sports here as well

yea i have a thing with yellow is a good colour and thanks i am loving the car and yea got through the MOT just taxed it just waiting to get some money now to do the next things i wanna do

not updated for a bit have taken the car to trax and had a laugh and had a wonder around the clio sport stand and have ordered some new goodies for my car including a scorpion cat back and some new mats and some team heko's also made a battery cover also painted the fuel rail cover to match the inlet

its a enamel based paint quite a hard paint a bit like air fix paint is really hard

Ah right okay where did you get it from? Would halfords do it? Maybe like a TouchUp brush

Use a Carplan Touch Up Paint Pen http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005DRZVPO/?tag=cliospnet01-21

Much easier to control and you don't get any runs.

Did my inlet with them.

well today has been a good day couple of orders have come one of which i have been waiting for since trax and so happy its hear i have got a Skoda fabia splitter and now have a stainless steel cat back from scorpion its not the rs192 but i got a very good deal on this so i am happy

hoping to get the exhaust on sunday

so today has been a good day fabia splitter is on and the scopion is on an sounds good love the sound of the car now

ignore the state of my bumper it needs painting

so been having some problems with the clio its been dropping a cylinder on idle found to have low compression on the same one so the car is coming off the road and going to have an engine rebuild and some other bits done hopefully by show session

so the car is now off the road again and starting to come apart for the engine to come out but will be back together for action day
