Over the last 6 months I have had a little project as I bought an R5 which was totally wrecked engine wise but had a few good bits, bigger turbo ,samco's big intercooler.

Decided to rebuild it my self and thought i'd just post some pics of it and the spec.

Spent the last few days putting it back in the car and firing it up tomo

See what you think, sorry bout quality of the pics as they were taken on my camera phone.












Spec is as follows

Knife edged and balanced crank

New shells and bearings

New Pistons and Liners

Group A Head gasket

Gas Flowed Head

GT Spec Cam

Vernier Pulley

High lift valves

Won't be ready for the meet mate still have a few bits to do like .... the brakes lol but should be ready for March time .

High Miler head gasket gone and had been run on high boost normal problems.

Just decided that a total rebuild was best for a project really.

Should have popped over was doing engine today as well so many hoses mate your there forever putting hoses on

Cheers mate had to ring Clifford today and getting someone out to take the crappy alarm off for the time being, as had major problems with alarm today. So have wait til wednesday to start it now
