Gotta love a new, shiny exhaust  it's sitting nice and snug too!

I've had a few people say about the Powerflex and cable tie method, have you got the part number for it?

Thanks mate :) Yeah I got to admit I did stand back and admire what a great job i did ;)

The part number is: EXH008

I have included an eBay link below as the price seems to be universal, like the mounts themselves :D

As promised, here is a clip of the Full RS192 Scorpion Exhaust with the Cat still in place.
Not the best of video's but it gives you an idea on the sound.

Big thumbs up and thanks to my mate Lawrence for helping me film it :D

Enjoy :)

Haaha! Yeah I can't say I haven't done that ;)

Thanks mate, yeah nothing but effort and time :rasp:
It needs to have its bonnet and bumper resprayed before I can call it close to beautiful.... but I see what you mean

By christ this has changed loads since I was last in here!!
still clean as always and that exhaust looks awesome. I want shiny brakes and Exhaust's :(

Jazz m'a man :)

Whaaaaaat... you mean to tell me you haven't been looking :quiet:

Cleaned at least twice a week an polished once :D

Yeah the exhaust looks good doesn't it, see that's a perk of having a 182... it looks better ;)
It's all coming together slowly, I'm thinking a trophy spoiler next? That exhaust makes the bottom end look fat so need something to bulk up the top a little.

What d'ya think?

So I was playing with the idea of purchasing some springs, logic suggested not to go anywhere near them as looking at pictures/cars from meets they would be a pain in the ass to get over speed bumps/ramps with. In addition to this my drive is very vertical so very slim chance of it actually making it up.

I decided against logic and practicality and opted for some Eibach Sportlines (40mm drop) :p

40mm drop all round and I'm really pleased with it, it sits a lot better, hold/grips exceedingly well in and out of sharp corners and make the car that much better.....it even gets up my drive :)

A long awaited update as the car is almost feeling neglected, along with a few forum users possibly?

New alloys :D !!!!!!

This is what arrived through the door, all the way from Scotland:

S0750231_zps0dfc67c8.jpg

Now I am sure that I will get a few comments on 'why have I gone down the route that mostly every other member does'.
I can answer that in two simple but key points:

1. I like the look of them, they set of certain curves in the bodywork (I'm not alone with that opinion ;))
2. The main and crucial point, the wheels are OEM! and that is what it's all about

Yes you guessed it they are of course Cup Turini's:

S0760233_zpsb8dd488d.jpg

Now I wouldn't be surprised if these particular alloys are still on the original factory paint, they certainly looked like it.

S0780237_zps380ccc64.jpg

With the odd bit of gutter rash here and there.

S0770235_zps8506003e.jpg

All being straight and true I dropped these off at a local wheel refurbishment company.
After seeing Tom Caz's Liquid Yellow 182 at ClioSport Saturday I decided to go down the route of getting the alloys wet painted in BMW Sparkling Graphite.

They are there as we speak, so as soon as I take delivery of the wheels I will give you guys an update :)

7[SUP]th[/SUP] July 2013 – Waxstock 2013 (Peterborough)

A hands on day of product testing, demonstrations, retail therapy and socialising. Not just a trade show, a great day out and the best shopping trip of the year for any keen detailer ;)

As well as traders offering exclusive show deals, Waxstock offered an unbeatable combination of demonstration and tutorials.

The day started with me catching a lift early with a few friends/members on here, I decided to sleep most of the journey as I didn't fancy driving the distance!
Hadn't long done the journey to CSS which was an absolute killer so I wasn't wanting to do that again in a hurry :p

A few pictures from the day:

looked a good day out! What exactly is the ultra glass set? :)

Copied off the Website mate, it explains it a little better than I could ;)
A possibility I may make this product popular on here :p

Nanolex Ultra Glass Sealant is the non-plus-ultra coating system for automotive glass surfaces.
The system contains the highest technically possible amount of active raw ingredients such as nano-scaled SiO2, which are responsible for beading performance and durability.
Nanolex Ultra Glass Sealant is an advanced nanotechnology coating that forms a permanent barrier against water, oil and grime on automotive glass surfaces.

Nanolex Ultra Glass Sealant is the non-plus-ultra coating system for automotive glass surfaces.
The durability of Nanolex Ultra Glass Sealant is outstanding as well, with at least 18 months or 19,000 Miles

The coating improves visibility and therefore driving comfort in bad weather conditions significantly. It reduces the need to use windscreen wipers and screen wash greatly. In addition grime and bug splatter can be washed off easily, de-icing is much easier too.
Rain drops are blown off by the airflow when driving speeds exceed 25 mph

Used and tested in cooperation with Motorsport Team Hohaus in the German endurance race cup VLN on the Nürburgring.

Just out of curiosity, How are you finding the Heat in the car when it's been left out in the sun? Especially with all that insulation used for soundproofing! Made any difference?

Interested to the answer to this myself! Planning on driving over to Lordman's and soundproofing my own in the same way under his guidance!

Can't believe how clean your car looks mate! Mine looks like it belongs in a scrapyard compared!

Its far from perfect, the paint is in good condition but it shows its age in places with stone chips :(
If you want to see clean look at Tom's 182 (ArcticClio182FF) absolute perfection!

You have to remember yours is black and black cars only ever look good when they are clean :)
