Fresh paint picks up swirls just looking at it, it stays soft for a few weeks regardless of what hardeners/oven time it's had.

I know its already gone through paint but that bottom lip on the bumper extended down would look awesome.

After 4 weeks and 6 days, the shell has returned, with fresh Topazbraun Metallic paint
The sun is out today, and it really shows off the warmth and depth of the finish.
I'm over the moon, tbh!
Can't really tell in a photo, but the flake pop is awesome! It almost looks like it has glitter all over it.
Smoothed front end.
The doors, wings, sunroof and bootlid will return next week

Well, bear in mind a full resto means dipping the shell, and rebuilding everything down to the last nut and bolt.
I've had done:
Welding in various places.
Full blow over respray (engine bay hasn't been painted).
New sills.
Smoothed front valance.
That all came to £1700, but I think he looked after me on it, as I'm a friend of a friend.
At the moment, including the purchase of the car, I think I'm up to £5k, with a lot still to do.
I'm not worrying too much about the costs of it, as long as I'm enjoying the process, I'm happy

It is shaping up beautifully mate, and its going to be awesome. That is money well spent in my eyes. I'm jealous, and off to car and classic to hunt a potential project down.

More progress today:
Headlining out.
Painted up the metal on the interior, not perfect, but it sits behind carpet, so it doesn't really matter.
Rear lights cleaned up with eraser, then waxed with FK100p and fitted to the car.
Christophers 200, 35 years between them
