Project Dechav: 172 Replica

After looking at all my old pics on Photobucket i could see the drastic change from when i got the car to now, so thought i'd share it with you all:).

After rolling my Quiksilver down a country lane, the plan was to find a black Dynamique and turn it into a 172 rep.

After browsing ebay i found this:

Was looking a little bit chavvy, but had potential.

Already had 172 bumpers, skirts, wings, and seats, and lowered and came at a bargain price with low mileage.

This would save me alot of time, money and hassle so i snapped it up.

The day i bought it:

Great job Charlie, glad to see it got saved :approve:

did u just mount the sub onto the false floor??
Nice work mate, looks alot better.

Yes mate, used an 18mm sheet of MDF and filled the wheel well with sub box foamy stuff, and just cut out the hole and mounted the sub to the mdf, and made some batons to spread the weight of the sub.

Doesn't sound as good as the huge box, but don't really car, have components amped up in the front too, saves alot of space/weight!

Not too bad gave it a polish today and it came up nice, the rear bumper and skirts are a bit dull in places.

Has a few stonechips and and a few little dents too though :(
