How long do you think it'll take the first PS3 to arrive on Ebay after they're released in Japan tomorrow?

Come out tomorrow in Japan, should be interesting to read about any issues that come to light.

Dont know the logistics involved, but having one shipped over here or brought over here is apparently illegal according to Sony Asia. A European owned PS3 will be dealt with by the death penalty. Uh huh.

who on earth would spend that kind of money on an import model that i assume wont even play UK games when they are released?? surely you would just get yourself a girlfriend until they are released here, would be cheaper! on second thoughts maybe not!

Games are region free IIRC. Someone will be selling them, Sony cant do anything about you buying one yourself and bringing it home, after that its yours to do as you wish with it.

Sony have said that they will take legal action against anyone selling imported consoles to EU consumers

Same law regards purchasing too, according to radio.

well sony themselves have stated that the conole wll be region free for games, but region locked for dvd's. i did some research b4 i made a boo boo

i read an article by ebay that they would remove all listings of ps3 after the xbox 360 events. so we will find out on the 13th?

Currently working in Hong Kong, they are out on fri 17th, gonna to mayhem the queues to be expected. HK are only releasing the 60gb verison 1st then 20gb in dec. mite get 1 but they are only releasing bout 5 games on the release day. only a couple dat looks gud.
might be coming bk to the uk for xmas, so who knows might av 1 by then.

I imported 2 PS2s a few years ago and sold them for 700 each a few days before Christmas in massive demand then.
