PS3 Cod 4 issues

Trying to have a few "quick" goes on cod4 just now and the f**king ps3 keeps crashing

can join online, find a game (sabotage) but then when it gets to the loading screen it doesn't load up at all . It's not the router as that's been restarted and plays cod5 ok. Incidently when this happens I CANNOT quit the game as it again just hangs . Well I can I hit ps button and go quit game to be met with 3 quick beeps then a nice blank screen.

So I'm going to assume it's ps3 related! Better not be the f**king laser...I've just repaired 2 of them for friends!! f**king ps3/xbox s**t.

I went in the loft the other day and got the megadrive down that's been there for 2 years and it works everytime. f**king noobs

cod 4 can be a pain in the but when it comes to loading , i find that getting into an online game after 5:30 takes ages , i have to keep comin gout then going back in , bloody nightmare ! MW2 roll on !!

I've had this a few times, in some cases had to wait up to 24hrs before it started working again

It's odd, the 3 beeps mean something to do with the hardrive not responding, like just now it did it again, quit game (from ps button menu) and it's just sitting there. Have to reboot it from power supply.

Il try cod5 in a mo but I'm pretty sure it only happens with cod4 but why I just don't know!
