PSN on another PS3..

I was always under the impression you could sign in to your PSN on any PS3.

I'm house sitting for my cousin the next 2 weeks and the PS3 is saying 'you cannot sign in using another user's sign in ID'

Since when? And is there any way around it?

He's got a Samsung LED tv with surround sound so MW2 needs some action on it.

I thought this to, as when you change PS3's you must be able to sign in, so you need to make a new account and then add your old details and it'll find all the scores and stuff?

Or have you started from scratch?

I'm in the same boat. Just took my console round instead... Then found out the slim and fat have different power leads... Fail.

Just create a new PS3 (Not PSN) account and sign in.

Go all the way to the left of the X bar and you'll see the users. Just create a new user and sign in

When you create a new PS3 account though it will only bring up your online save files. Anything you play offline will still be on your old system, as i found out when mine got nicked! Had to start all over again!
