Pug Performance Air Filter on 182

I fitted a Pug Performance air filter on my clio 182. The filter is meant to fit a 206 180 GTI. The filter works fine and sounds good, can anyone see any harm or disadvantages of doing this to my 182??. The filter was given to me by a mate who sold his 206. Cheers
