Question For People With PMS Gear Linkage Kit

Does it take out that in gear play?

With every shifter I have tried you still get that in gear play. In other words when in say 3rd gear, you can still move the gearstick side to side by a cm or two.

Just wondered if the PMS kit improves this?

Can't say I've noticed anything. The only time i get side to side movement is in neutral as there no mechanism to centre it.

Not worried about a centering as it's for the race car.

Just want a nice positive shift with no in gear play, the standard shift is terrible, one of the worst aspects of the car in my opinion.

Its very positive, only issue is setting them up. Takes a while but once its set the shift feel great.

It is a lot more positive, with less play. I love mine.

Needs some time invested in it to get it to fit right and the gears to run through fine, but I wouldn't be without it now.
